Benigna's Creek | lighting of the vineyard - COVID 19 Guidelines
COVID - 19 Safety Measures
Benigna's Creek is actively monitoring the incidence of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in our region.
At this time, the Annual Lighting of the Vineyard will take place as planned. However, if you are sick or feeling you are getting sick, we ask that you please stay home. Currently, older adults and persons with underlying health conditions are considered to be at increased risk of severe illness and complications from COVID-19. Examples of underlying health conditions include heart disease, lung disease, diabetes, people with weakened immune systems, and people who are pregnant. The CDC recommends that people in high-risk groups consult with their healthcare provider about attending any large gathering.
If you do choose to attend the Lighting of the Vineyard, please keep in mind the CDC recommendations on how to keep yourself and others healthy:
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.
With your safety in mind, Benigna's Creek has implemented the following COVID-19 protocols to our Lighting of the Vineyard Event.
Benigna's Creek is offering its Annual Lighting of the Vineyard on two nights, both with limited event space capacity as advised by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
The Annual Lighting of the Vineyard is an outside event. We have expanded the event across winery premises.
Enhanced cleaning all around during open hours and rigorous sanitation every night.
Hand Sanitizer available at key locations.
Employee mask requirements and frequent hand washing during shifts.
Plastic protection screens at all registers, front gate area and all points of contact to insure safe distance between staff and guests. Frequent sanitation at all registers.
Facial coverings for all guests required (unless a medical condition prohibits it, as per CDC, WHO and Pennsylvania mandates).
Social distancing encouraged throughout the winery/vineyard.
**PLEASE NOTE: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in every public place where people are present. COVID-19 is a contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are particularly vulnerable.
By visiting Benigna's Creek, you voluntarily assume all risks of exposure to COVID-19.
Help keep yourself and others healthy and safe by practicing safe behaviors!
